I have registered on twitter last August 20, 2008 out of curiosity. I have read that it’s one of the fastest growing social networking sites in the world so I registered. But unlike its counterparts like facebok where I can create my profile by writing my favorites or where I studied or even upload my pictures, twitter is so much different.

At my twitter home page, I’m being asked “What are you doing?” What the heck, does it really matter to you if I’m picking my nose right now? Hehehe… And I must write in 140 characters or less. Huh? I don’t understand how telling nobody that you are watching Twilight works. I just went with the flow and posted random comments and links to my blog posts. But I STILL don’t understand how it works as no one seems to really care. No one replies to my tweets.

Upper Deck’s Exquisite Collection line of trading cards is one of the most expensive products in the sports trading cards hobby today. One pack which contains 5 cards costs $500! So, it is always a joy whenever I acquire an Exquisite card.

Especially if that card is of one of the Supermen in the NBA today, Dwight Howard. Shaquille O’Neal is the other one. They also happen to be my most favorite players and the ones I collect in the hobby.

This card is my first Dwight Howard Exquisite autographed card. It is from the latest issue, 2007-08 Exquisite and from the Noble Nameplates set. The card contains a swatch of the player’s jersey nameplate and an on-card autograph.

These cards are one of the most unique cards in the NBA trading cards hobby because they are not made of the usual cardboard. They’re actually not made of glass either but of hard plastic. They are also very thick just like the Exquisites so storing them is a little harder. They are also very cool to look at because they are transparent and not easily damaged because they’re not made of cardboard.

And the most important thing of all…

… the autographs are on-card!

These cards were first released in 2002-03 UD Glass, followed suit by 2003-04 UD Glass and have been produced by UD Trilogy from 2004-05 to 2006-07 until the last batch was released in 2008-09 UD Radiance.

What is an ANAGRAM?

As usual, wikipedia provides the answer;

An anagram is a type of word play, the result of rearranging the letters of a word or phrase to produce a new word or phrase, using all the original letters exactly once.

Meaning, any word or phrase that exactly reproduces the letters in another order is an anagram.

Example:

The letters in the word GARDEN can be rearranged to form the anagram, DANGER.

NOTE: I’m making a series of blogs narrating the events last year that led to our wedding on December 22, 2007. I’m making this to share to others and for me and my wife to always remember how we became hitched to each other. This is the seventh blog in the series.

In a wedding, giveaways are typically given by the couple to guests at the reception party to serve as a memento of that occasion. Of course, we were not an exception to this. Would you believe that our giveaways were already prepared 3 months before the wedding? That’s how excited we were! We prepared three kinds.
