There will be no Lebron James vs Kobe Bryant NBA Finals showdown this year. No “The King” vs “The Black Mamba”. No face-off between the reigning MVP and last year’s MVP. No box-office extravaganza for the NBA executives. And finally, we will be seeing no more of those annoying Nike puppet commercials.
Superman Dwight Howard made sure of that. He delivered with 40 points and 14 rebounds as the Orlando Magic won Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers 103-90.

NOTE: I’m making a series of blogs narrating the events last year that led to our wedding on December 22, 2007. I’m making this to share to others and for me and my wife to always remember how we became hitched to each other. This is the thirteenth and final blog in the series.
Along with the wedding album and portrait, Rey Rellon Studio of Davao City also made a video presentation of our wedding. Again, their expertise was evident on the finished product. It was produced on a DVD.
Here’s the DVD cover…

By winning today 116-114, the Orlando Magic is now leading the Cleveland Cavaliers 3-1 in their best-of-seven NBA Eastern Conference Finals series. It was a hard-fought game as usual. First time NBA MVP Lebron James sent the game into OT by calmly sinking in two free throws. Then in the overtime period, he hit an amazing three-pointer while falling almost out of bounds with 4.6 seconds to go. After Rashard Lewis made 1 free throw and missed another, Lebron dribbled the length of the floor and heaved a 35-footer at the buzzer. But unlike in Game 2 where Lebron James hit the game-winning buzzer beater, the shot failed to hit its target this time.
Rashard Lewis might have saved the game for the Magic but it was my man Dwight Howard who finished strong. He demanded the ball in the overtime period and delivered 10 points via an assortment of dunks and layups. He had 27 points, 14 rebounds and 3 blocks (one of which is an amazing block on Lebron). I sure hope Dwight Howard will finally get his first championship ring.

In true Shaquille O’Neal fashion, Dwight Howard brought down the shot clock after a monster slam during the Orlando Magic’s Game 2 Eastern Conference Finals win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
When Shaq retires, the one person that will continue to embody the true center position is Dwight Howard. This also rings true when it comes to my NBA trading cards player collections. I collect both players so that when Shaq retires and don’t have new cards anymore, Dwight will be there to fill-in his large shoes.
These are Dwight Howard’s jersey and patch cards I have managed to acquire since 2006. I refuse to call them game-used because it is often untrue nowadays.

I am one of the legions of MyBrute zombies who fight other brutes to an online battle who has become addicted to this game. At first, I play it fair. That is, without cheats. I think it must be human nature because after a while, I began searching for ways on how to level-up and make my brutes stronger. In other words, I began to cheat, hehe..
I have compiled here the best cheats I have found all over the World Wide Web.
Gain Experience By Creating Your Own Pupils
When you first registered your brute, your computer’s IP address is logged at the MyBrute website. A macromedia file is also saved on your computer. Therefore, when you try to create your own pupil at your computer, your brute master will not gain experience points when your pupils level up.
There are two ways to overcome this.

After Hedo Torkuglo of the Orlando Magic hit a leaning jumper with 1 second left in the shot-clock to put his team ahead 95-93, I thought “this is it, Cleveland Cavaliers will enter Game 3 down 0-2 in its Eastern Conference Finals series”. After the time-out, Lebron James showed the world why he is the NBA’s Most Valuable Player. He came to work and hit an improbable game-winning buzzer beater behind the three-point line!
