Take note that the NBA Finals are in 2-3-2 format with the 3 middles games to be played at Amway Arena, the Orlando Magic’s homecourt.

If you want to watch the games in Filipino (or Taglish), tune-in to C/S9. Either two of these guys will be the commentators: Quinito Henson, Chino Trinidad, Andy Jao or Vito Lazatin.

If you are getting annoyed for some reason listening to those guys, better stick with BTV. The commentators will be Mike Breen, Mark Jackson and Jeff Van Gundy.

UPDATE 6/9/09: After watching Game 1 today, I realized that ESPN Asia is also doing a delayed (about 30 seconds) telecast with the ABC commentators. I have  also read from firequinito that Mico Halili and Andy Jao will cover the Finals for C/S9 starting Game 3 at Orlando.

With the Magic winning Game 3, I can say that now we have a series> I just hope that a 5-game win for the Lakers will not happen.

That’s what I’m also hoping. I hope winning Game 3 is not just a fluke for the Magic.
