June is typically known as the wedding month and many women dream of becoming a June bride. I don’t know how people came up with this tradition but a quick search at Wikipedia pointed to me that the month is named after Juno, the Roman goddess of marriage. Well, blame it on the Romans then.
I was married to my lovely wife last December 22, 2007. For me and my wife to have something to reminisce and share to our future kids, we made a series of blog posts narrating the events before and after that memorable day. We titled the series, “Our Wedding Chronicles”. We made thirteen posts; each one very detailed and with accompanying pictures, videos and music.
Since it is the wedding month, we are listing here all the posts we made. We hope to share some tips and ideas with you as you plan your own special day. We also want you to share the joy and happiness we felt on all the events that happened.
The list is in chronological order.
I. Our Wedding Chronicles: Pamanhikan
II. Our Wedding Chronicles: Engagement Ring
III. Our Wedding Chronicles: Invitation
IV. Our Wedding Chronicles: Pre-Wedding Preparations
V. Our Wedding Chronicles: The Wedding
VI. Our Wedding Chronicles: The Reception
VII. Our Wedding Chronicles: Gifts and Giveaways
VIII. Our Wedding Chronicles: Honeymoon
IX. Our Wedding Chronicles: Wedding Portrait
X. Our Wedding Chronicles: Box Frame
XI. Our Wedding Chronicles: Signature Frame
XII. Our Wedding Chronicles: Wedding Album
XIII. Our Wedding Chronicles: The Videos
We hope you enjoyed reading our posts as much as we do making them.
Please share your comments as well. Thank you.

I think mas marami pa rin ang nag-associate ng month of June sa wedding kaysa sa Father’s Day.

Now i know who is the goddess of marriage. Your blog answers the question of many if why is it that there are lots of couple who want to marry on june.
