There are two sides to every conflict. In the upcoming movie Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen, two opposing factions of sentient robots are battling it out for worldwide supremacy with the Autobots protecting the Earth again from the evil plans of the Decepticons.
The Autobots are the protagonists. The good side. The heroes.
Here is the list of Autobot robots that appear in the movie. Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen will open in the US and the Philippines on June 24, 2009.
Optimus Prime – the leader of the Autobots. Alternate mode is a blue Peterbilt truck with red flame decals.
Bumblebee – Sam Witwicky’s guardian. Alternate mode is a yellow Chevrolet Camaro.
Ironhide – the weapons specialist. Alternate mode is a GMC Topkick C4500 pickup truck.
Ratchet – the medic. Alternate mode is a search and rescue Hummer H2.
Jetfire – a former Decepticon. Alternate mode is an SR-71 Blackbird.
Arcee / Chromia – female Autobots that transform into motorcycles.
Mudflap and Skids – otherwise known as The Twins. Alternate mode is a red Chevrolet Trax and green Chevrolet Beat respectively.
Sideswipe – an expert fighter with his swords. Alternate mode is a silver Chevrolet Corvette.
Jolt - armed with a pair of electric whips. Alternate mode is a blue Chevrolet Volt.
Wheelie - a former Decepticon spy. Alternate mode is a remote-controlled toy truck.

Thanks for pointing this out. I rechecked Wikipedia and it says that the two robots are really of different alternate car modes. You can check out their entry for Chevrolet Trax and Chevrolet Beat if you want.

Of course he is. Quoting wikipedia, Jolt is seen driving in vehicle mode on a highway with Ratchet and Optimus Prime. He is also seen mourning over Prime after the battle in the forest. He is in the final battle, fighting alongside his fellow Autobots to fend off the incoming Decepticons, and helps Ratchet connect Jetfire’s remains with Optimus. He uses his “electro whips” to surge power from Jetfire to Prime so they can combine in the final battle.

lol, don’t listen to Jerron, he’s a moron. Like you said, Jolt was very OBVIOUSLY seen using his whips on Optimus in the final scene (which was the most AWESOME part of the movie, btw!)

– it is because when he transforms, he isn’t blue. It is gray I think, and you think you might be seeing Sideswipe. You will just recognize that it is Jolt when it uses the “electric whips”, connecting Jetfire and Optimus.

There are 3 in the beginning, but supposedly all three make up Arcee, you see them transform slightly in the beginning chase, but then see Arcee later in the desert much larger, all three being her would explain her size. Also you may notice after the Shanghai mission back at base, the twins and Arcee are all called to the Hangar, the twins are shown getting their upgrade, but not Arcee, maybe they were upgrading her to
