WBO welterweight champion Miguel Cotto survived a nasty cut above his left eye in the third round to win a bloody battle with challenger Joshua Clottey via split-decision. The cut was from an accidental head-butt. At the break, the ring doctor checked the cut but allowed the fight to continue. In a gutsy stand, Cotto survived the 4th round even if he can’t see properly because of the blood trickling in his eyes. I admire him for that.
The welterweight bout between Miguel Cotto and Joshua Clottey is a must-see event.
Even pound-for-pound king Manny Pacquiao is set to watch it. After all, the winner of the bout might earn the chance to fight the Pacman at a catch weight on October this year. The bout is scheduled for 12 rounds at Madison Square Garden, New York, USA on June 13 (tomorrow, Sunday here in the Philippines).
Manny Pacquiao is still in New York fresh from accepting his 2008 Fighter of the Year Award.
UFC 99: The Comeback is scheduled for June 13, 2009 (tomorrow, Sunday here in the Philippines). It will be held for the first time in Germany.

The main event features former UFC middleweight champion Rich “Ace” Franklin and Wanderlei “The Axe Murderer” Silva at a catch weight of 195 lbs. However, the event is titled as The Comeback because Mirko “CroCop” Filipović is returning in the UFC for the first time since his unanimous decision loss to Cheick Kongo at UFC 75 in 2007. He will fight Mustapha Al-turk at the heavyweight division.
Yesterday in New York, Manny Pacquiao was awarded the 2008 Fighter of the Year given out by the Boxing Writers Association of America. It’s like him receiving the Oscar Awards for boxing. This was the second time he was given the prestigious award after also having it in 2006.
2009 NBA Finals Lakers vs Magic Game 4 | Derek Fisher Makes Two Clutch 3-Pointers
Category: BasketballLA Lakers veteran point guard Derek Fisher has been doing this all his playoff career. That is, hit three-point shots. In fact in the history of the NBA Finals, he is third all-time in most treys made behind Robert Horry and Michael Jordan. He is best well-known for hitting this amazing three-point shot with .4 second left in the shot clock.
In Game 4 of the NBA Finals, he did it again. Twice.
Wow, just when I thought people have gotten tired of this already, a friend pointed out to me that another nasty has been unleashed from the Hayden Kho scandal video vault.
Curious as the rest of you who came here looking for these kind of stuff (if not, then stop reading), I watched the video from the link he gave me. Apparently, it’s part 3 of Hayden’s s*xual tryst with Maricar Reyes. People have been condemning Hayden for taking s*x videos without the consent of the other party but in this particular one, she seems to know that there is a camera in front of them.
