Dan Henderson vs Michael Bisping Video

UFC 100 | Hendo Drops a Bomb on The Count

Category: MMA

In the third card of UFC 100, American Dan “Hendo” Henderson met British Michael “The Count” Bisping in a welterweight division bout between the opposing coaches on the ninth season of The Ultimate Fighter titled “The Ultimate Fighter: United States vs. United Kingdom”.

It was scheduled last July 11, 2009 (July 12, Sunday here in the Philippines) at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In a complete reversal of my fight result prediction, Dan Henderson showing the world why he is a world champion unleashed a bomb in his right hand. Michael Bisping was knocked out cold. Hendo again unleashed a followup bomb just to make sure and the referee stopped the carnage. It was the first time in Bisping’s career that he went out down like that. Dan Henderson won by KO in the 2nd Round!

Here is the video of the fight:

In the UFC, for me too. It clearly showed the bad blood Henderson has for Bisping. During the post-fight interview, he even said that that follow-up jumping elbow was supposed to shut-up Bisping’s loud mouth.
