During an interview for the UFC 100 fight preview video production, Brock Lesnar said:

“This fight is nothing about respect. This fight is all about revenge”

Lesnar seeks revenge against the man who defeated him the first time he stepped on the Octagon at UFC 81, Frank Mir.

Brock Lesnar vs Frank Mir

Lesnar became the UFC Heavyweight Champion when he TKOd Randy Couture in Round 2 at UFC 91.

Mir became the UFC Interim-Heavyweight Champion when he TKOd “Minotauro” Nogueira in Round 2 at UFC 92. The grudge match between these two beasts will determine who the Undisputed Heavyweight Champion is.

UFC 100 | Fight Preview Videos

UFC 100, the biggest event in mixed martial arts history is scheduled for July 11, 2009 (July 12, Sunday here in the Philippines) at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In the main event, UFC Heavyweight Champion, Brock Lesnar will fight UFC Interim-Heavyweight Champion, Frank Mir for a title unification bout that will determine who the the real champ is.

In the co-main event, UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre and Yahoo! Sports’ #1 pound-for-pound fighter defends his belt against MMAWeekly.com’s 2008 Fighter of the Year Thiago Alves.

Michael Jackson Memorial Service Video | Jermaine Jackson Smile Tribute

During actress Brooke Shield’s eulogy speech at the memorial service for Michael Jackson, Brooke mentioned that “Smile” had been the favorite song of “The King of Pop”.

“Smile” is a pop song, originally used as an instrumental theme in the soundtrack for the 1936 Charlie Chaplin movie Modern Times. It has been sung by different singers since then.The best known version is the one by Nat King Cole.

Michael Jackson Memorial Service Video | Mariah Carey and Trey Lorenz I’ll Be There Duet

The song “I’ll Be There” is one of the hits for Michael Jackson and his brothers when they were still together as The Jackson 5. It was the first single from their Third Album in 1970 and subsequently becoming the most successful single ever released by the group. “I’ll Be There” sold 4.2 million copies in the United States, and 6.1 million copies worldwide.

In 1992, Mariah Carey and Trey Lorenz covered the song during Mariah’s appearance on MTV Unplugged. The song became her sixth number 1 single in the US. Their duet was nominated for the 1993 Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals, losing to Boyz II Men’s “End of the Road”.

Where’s the Video of Jordan Crawford Dunking on Lebron?

A viral video is supposed to spread like wildfire gaining fame and attention. So, when a video was taken of Jordan Crawford’s dunk on Lebron James during a pick-up game at Nike’s LeBron James Skills Academy at the University of Akron, it seems we have an instant classic. After all, it’s very rare for an unknown college student from an unknown university (Xavier University) to give “The King” his own version of a flush. The kid is 6’4″ and the king is 6’8″.

Except that there’s no video. Well, apparently there WAS.

For some reasons, Lebron James or Nike or whoever asked for the videos to be taken from the two guys who caught the dunk on tape. I don’t know what happened to the tapes but they might have been destroyed. It was confiscated to protect Lebron James.

Michael Jackson Memorial Service Video | Kobe Bryant and Magic Johnson Speech

The Michael Jackson memorial service was held at the Staples Center in California, USA on July 7, 2009.  Incidentally, it’s the home of the 2009 NBA Champions Los Angeles Lakers so it was not odd to see sports stars Kobe Bryant and Magic Johnson among the  group of entertainers that attended the event.

Kobe Bryant and Magic Johnson went onstage together to give their eulogy speech.

Kobe’s speech was brief focusing more on Michael Jackson’s humanitarian side. He told the crowd that Michael made the Guinness Book of World Record for “Most Charities Supported by a Pop Star”.
