I can’t believe I was able to pull this off.
It was at 9:00 AM of August 9, a Sunday when I logged-in to check this web site. I was shocked when I realized that a steady rate of 50 visitors are coming to this site per minute! On a normal day, I would be lucky if I got 50 visitors in 1 hour but this day is not a normal day. In fact, I expected a spike in traffic for this day but not as high as this. At the end of the day, 43,026 unique visitors have viewed this site breaking my previous record-high of 6,181 by a mile. That’s an increase of 700% right there. I also made it to number 1 of TopBlogs Philippines. Not just in the Personal Category but in the entire TopBlogs list. Considering that they are tracking more than 4,500 pinoy sites, this is no small feat. I stayed there for a day and a half. 
I’m also glad that I was able to transfer my new domain to a new host before this fateful day because my new host was able to withstand the huge traffic volume. This is in contrast to my old host which often shuts down my site and give me headaches once spikes in traffic such as this happens. I also encountered 4 consecutive months of bandwidth limit exceeded problem from them.
Anyway, that’s not really this post’s topic so we move on.
On July 6, I finally made $100 from Google Adsense after 5 months of blogging. By the end of July, I already have $159.58.
Then, August 9 came.
Most of my site’s visitors are coming from the search engines and from the other half of the world (the American continents and Europe). Most of my earnings are also coming from them because they are the ones who will click on my ads. Even if it’s already August 9 here in the Philippines, it’s still August 8 at their place so the screenshots (taken using ScreenHunter)I will show you reflect the date as August 8.
My previous record-high from Google Adsense was $7.38 but on August 9, I made a whooping $172.19! That’s an increase of 2,333% right there. Here’s a screen shot.
My Google Adsense earnings from February 6 – August 8 of $170.89 was surpassed in only 1 day and with an extra $1.3 to boot.
And here’s more.
Aside from integrating Google ads to this site, I also utilize Infolinks and Chitika. Yes, I also made record earnings from them.
My previous record-high from Chitika was $1.01 but on August 9, I made $22.73 for an increase of 2,250%. Here’s a screen shot.
For Infolinks, my record-high was $1.76 but was surpassed on August 9 when I made $17.24 for an increase of 980%. Here’s a screen shot.
Overall, I made a total of $212.16 from Google Adsense, Infolinks and Chitika in just one day!
I know some pinoy bloggers are making more. But still, I’m happy that I was able to prove to myself that I can also do what they can do.
And that’s making money online by blogging.

I use fatcow for my hosting. I was able to avail of their $44/year promo last year. Their regular rate nowadays is $66/year. That’s for unlimited bandwidth and space.

I noticed you have adds with clicksor, how is the pay out with them? My account got deactivated and I am looking for a new place. I been using chitika for 4 days and made 49 cents which isn’t all that great.

I make more with clicksor ads than chitika. I suggest you try adbrite though. It’s my highest earner so far aside from adsense.
