The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights is the tenth season of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) – produced reality television series The Ultimate Fighter being shown at Spike TV.
The show features two former UFC light-heavyweight champions, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Rashad Evans as the opposing coaches.
Former EliteXC fighter and internet sensation Kevin Ferguson AKA Kimbo Slice is arguably the show’s biggest draw.

James McSweeney, Brendan Schaub, Justin Wren, Jon Madsen, Roy Nelson, Darrill Schoonover, Matt Mitrione, Mike Wessel
Team Rampage fighters:
Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson, Abe Wagner, Demico Rogers, Wes Sims, Scott Junk, Wes Shivers, Marcus Jones, Zak Jensen
It had its record-setting first episode on September 16, 2009 at Spike TV, following UFC Fight Night 19 which debuted with a whopping 4.1 million viewers. The series’ previous high was 2.8 million viewers, who tuned in for the The Ultimate Fighter 3 premiere in 2006.
The 4.1 million viewers (2.9 household rating) created the largest audience for a single “TUF” episode and a record for a season debut of any show in Spike TV history.
It was subsequently broken by TUF 10 Episode 3 featuring the highly-anticipated Kimbo Slice vs Roy Nelson fight hyped as “The Biggest Fight in Ultimate Fighter History” with the 5.3 million viewers (3.7 household rating).
