WBA featherweight champion Chris John (42-0-2, 22 KO) staked his world title against Rocky Juarez (28-4-1, 20 KO) in Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, USA last February 28, 2009.

However, that fight ended in a very controversial draw with all judges scoring it 114-114.

To settle the score, the two boxers met again in the ring as an undercard to “Number One / Numero Uno” which  top-billed Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and Juan Manuel Marquez on September 19, 2009 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

On September 19, 2009 (September 20, Sunday here in the Philippines) at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, USA, mixed-martial event UFC 103: Franklin vs Belfort will happen.

Former UFC Light Heavyweight champion Vitor “The Phenom” Belfort returns to the Octagon to face former UFC Middleweight champion Rich “Ace” Franklin at a catchweight of 195 lbs in the main event of the evening.

In the co-main event,  Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipović  will battle it out with Junior dos Santos in a non-title heavyweight bout.

UFC 103: Franklin vs Belfort is a mixed-martial arts (MMA) event being promoted by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) organization.

The show is scheduled for September 19, 2009 (September 20, Sunday here in the Philippines) at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, USA.

The main event will feature Rich “Ace” Franklin against Vitor “The Phenom” Belfort. Franklin is a former UFC Middleweight champion while Belfort is a former UFC Light Heavyweight champion and current Cage Rage Light Heavyweight champion. Franklin and Belfort will meet at a catchweight of 195 lbs.

The co-main event will feature a non-title heavyweight bout between Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipović and Junior dos Santos. Cro Cop is a professional Croatian Heavyweight kickboxer who recently signed a three fight contract with the UFC after some controversies after his last fight with Mustapha Al-turk at UFC 99.  Dos Santos is the current Brazilian heavyweight kickboxing champion with a record of 18-0. He also holds a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Last September 5, Google has in its homepage a doodle of an UFO beaming over the letter O of the Google logo. When clicked, the doodle directs you to the search results page for the phrase “unexplained phenomenon“.

Google did not expose the reason behind that mysterious doodle but I have gathered some possible explanations.

Today, another doodle appeared with a UFO hovering over crop circles formed from a corn field.

When clicked, the doodle directs you to the search results page for the phrase “crop circles”. The file name for the doodle is goog_e.gif. Yes, that’s Google without an “l”.
