UFC 104: Shogun vs Machida is a mixed martial arts (MMA) event scheduled for October 24, 2009 (October 25, Sunday here in the Philippines) at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Lyoto “The Dragon” Machida will defend his light heavyweight championship belt against Mauricio “Shogun” Rua in the main event.

Cain Velasquez and Ben “Big Ben” Rothwell will meet in a non-title heavyweight bout in the other main event.
