WWE Bragging Rights | SmackDown Earns “Bragging Rights” Against RawCategory: Wrestling
It was Raw vs SmackDown on WWE’s Bragging Rights!
The main event of the pay-per-view wrestling show was an interpromotional tag team match for “bragging rights” between wrestlers from the Raw and SmackDown brands, hence the title. Big Show betrayed his Team Raw partners in the big 14-Man Tag Match, helping Chris Jericho and Team SmackDown score the victory, the trophy and, most importantly, the bragging rights.
Bragging Rights took place on October 25, 2009 at the Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA.
Here is the result of the matches:
60-minute Anything Goes Iron Man match for the WWE Championship
John Cena defeated Randy Orton
14-man Tag team match featuring SmackDown wrestlers against Raw wrestlers
Team SmackDown (Chris Jericho, Kane, R-Truth, Matt Hardy, The Hart Dynasty (Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith) and Finlay) defeated Team Raw (D-Generation X (Shawn Michaels and Triple H), Big Show, Cody Rhodes, Jack Swagger, Kofi Kingston and Mark Henry)
Fatal Four-Way match for the World Heavyweight Championship
The Undertaker defeated CM Punk, Rey Mysterio and Batista
The Miz defeated John Morrison
Six-Diva tag team match
Michelle McCool, Beth Phoenix and Natalya (Team Raw) defeated Melina, Kelly Kelly and Gail Kim (Team SmackDown)
