The 2009-10 NBA season is here!
This will be an exciting season due to the unexpected transactions in the off-season which sent the world of professional basketball abuzz with enthusiasm.
The biggest story of the offseason came from the biggest superstar of them all, Shaquille O’Neal’s trade to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Some of the big-name players switched teams as well: Ron Artest is now with the LA Lakers, Vince Carter with the Orlando Magic, Rasheed Wallace with the Boston Celtics, Allen Iverson with the Memphis Grizzlies, Hedo Torkuglo with the Toronto Raptors, Shawn Marion with the Dallas Mavericks and Ben Gordon with the Detroit Pistons to name a few.
An exciting crop of rookies are set to conquer the scene as well headed by #1 draft pick Blake Griffin of the University of Oklahoma.
Will Kobe Bryant and the LA Lakers repeat as champions with the addition of the volatile Artest?
Will Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic get a shot at redemption after falling 4-1 in the NBA Finals now that Vinsanity is in the building?
