Firepower: Pacquiao vs Cotto is one of the most anticipated boxing events of the year.

It headlines Miguel “Junito” Cotto defending his WBO welterweight belt against current pound-for-pound king Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao at a catchweight of 145 lbs. It is scheduled for November 14, 2009 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

Pacquiao attempts to get his 7th world title in as many weight classes; a feat no other boxer in history has done while Cotto battles for respect.

The undercard of the Pacquiao vs Cotto main event promises to be exciting as well as it features undefeated fighters Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and Yuri Foreman, and three-time world champion Daniel Santos.

Julio Cesar Chavez, Jr., son of the greatest Mexican boxer in history is coming off a victory against Jason Lehoullier via 1st Round TKO last September 12.
