From the looks of it, Miguel Cotto might have been hit by a freight train.

Actually, it’s the Pacman Express who made Cotto’s face a bloody mess. His eyes were almost shut due to the swelling and blood was flowing from his nose and cuts.

It was definitely a gruesome sight that after the ninth round, Cotto’s wife and kid who were by the ringside left the arena as they could not take the beating any longer.

After 12 rounds of punishment, referee Kenny Bayless finally put a stop to Manny Pacquiao’s continuous barrage of punches to Cotto’s face in their boxing match held at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA on November 14, 2009.

The bigger and stronger Cotto was bullied by a smaller and lighter fighter Pacquiao even sending the former twice on his knees in the 3rd and 4th rounds.

In the Pacquiao-Cotto 24/7 Episode 2, Cotto had a custom-made punching bag with Manny’s face on it. However in the actual fight, it was Pacquiao who made Cotto’s face a punching bag.

In the process, Pacquiao added Cotto’s WBO welterweight belt to his resume and in the process became the first boxer in history to get 7 world titles in 7 weight divisions. He also cemented his status as the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world.
