Rumors and intrigues always come right before a movie or some promotion is being made. It is a calculated move to bring attention to something. In this case, it's the movie Wapakman. Perhaps, out of force of habit, his movie talent managers, not thinking that the recent victory is enough to catapult the movie to the the top of the charts, still have to go through this old spin tactic. And they intentionally left Jinkee blind to the plan so that the effect becomes even more believable. Imagine poor Jinkee's heart being broken. If my theory happens to be false, then let's just accept the fact that indeed, Manny is very human. He gets hurt in the ring, and he also gets tempted with the human pleasures that anyone with 'enough' money gets offered with.
