Marcus Jones don’t like Matt Mitrione. No, despise him should be more like it.

The two had a confrontation during Episode 12 of TUF 10 when the emotional “Big Baby” Jones challenged Mitrione to hit him. This was after news broke out that his friend and Team Rampage teammate Scott Junk had an eye surgery which might have signaled the end of his mixed-martial arts career after Mitrione accidentally poked his eye during their Episode 7 matchup.

In the season finale of the UFC-produced reality show The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights, Jones will finally have his chance to smother Mitrione.

PREDICTION:

Marcus “The Darkness” Jones (4-1)  is a former professional football player playing for 7 years for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In the world of mixed-martial arts, he proved he has what it takes when he reached the semifinals of the The Ultimate Fighter 10 defeating Mike Wessel in the preliminary rounds and giving Darrill Schoonover his first MMA loss when he knocked Titties out. He himself was then knocked out by Brendan Schaub in the semifinals. Jones looks to submit his opponents first but if he has the chance, will not hesitate to knock his opponents out.

Matt Mitrione is also a former professional football player playing for the New York Giants, San Francisco 49ers and Minnesota Vikings. He however has yet to fight in a proffesional MMA bout. He won a boring majority decision against Scott Junk in the preliminary rounds and lost to James McSweeney via submission in the quarterfinals.

Jones will come out bloodthirsty. I predict a submission win in the 2nd Round for him.
