Matt “The Hammer” Hamill and Jon “Bones” Jones will headline The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights season finale on December 5, Saturday 9:00 PM PT/ 8:00 PM CT at the Pearl at the Palms in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

Matt Hamill himself was a previous contestant of the reality show’s third season coached by Tito Ortiz and Ken Shamrock. He won a preliminary fight against Mike Nickels via decision, but was unable to continue into the semi-finals due to injuries. He has a mixed martial arts record of 7 wins (5 by knockout) and 2 losses.

Jon Jones is an undefeated fighter sporting an MMA record of 9 wins (5 by KO, 2 by submission). He is widely considered to be one of the most explosive and exciting fighters in the UFC today.

PREDICTION:

Matt Hamill is a wrestler who has excellent stand-up skills as 5 of his 7 wins were via knockout. Jon Jones excels at both the stand-up and ground games.
