In the season finale of The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights, Team Rashad fighters Roy “The Big Country” Nelson and Brendan”The Hybrid” Schaub meet in the finals.

The winner will be dubbed The Ultimate Fighter and will be awarded a six-figure UFC contract.

Roy Nelson reached the finals after using his belly in the semifinals to pin James McSweeney to the ground in a crucifix position and threw 21 unanswered punches to McSweeney’s head.This prompted referee Steve Mazzagatti to stop the fight at the 4:11 mark of the 1st Round and awarded him the TKO victory. The crucifix technique was reminiscent of the one he used on Kimbo Slice in Episode 3.

Brendan Schaub reached the finals after his flurry of punches to Marcus Jones’ face prompted referee Josh Rosenthal to stop their semifinals bout at the 2:11 mark of the 1st Round and awarded the KO victory to Schaub.

PREDICTION:

These two fighters are the favorites to make the last dance and they did not disappoint.

Roy Nelson (13-4) is a former International Fight League heavyweight champion. He has a black belt on Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Renzo Gracie and has good boxing skills. But its in the ground where he makes his living.

Brendan Schaub (4-0) is a former professional football player. He has a pretty impressive knockout power and a decent ground game.

Nelson is too experienced for Schaub. I predict a Unanimous Decision win for Nelson.
