Kenny “KenFlo” Florian is best known for his appearance on the first season of The Ultimate Fighter reality show where he lost the middleweight final to Diego Sanchez. He is currently ranked by multiple MMA publications as the number-four lightweight in the world.

He returns to the Octagon following his loss to B.J. Penn at UFC 101.

Clay “The Carpenter” Guida is a veteran with 35 mixed-martial arts bouts to his credit. His last fight against Diego Sanchez at The Ultimate Fighter: US vs. UK Finale earned him the respect of many as despite a seemingly endless barrage of punches and a brutal headkick by Sanchez which dropped him in the first round, he managed to survive even though he loss via Split Decision with his  relentless pressure and unending stamina.  This fight went on to win “Fight of the Night” honours. The fight would later make #13 on the “100 Greatest UFC fights” list.

PREDICTION:

Ken Florian (11 wins-4 losses) is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practitioner as well as having excellent Muay Thai skills. His elbow strikes are lethal. Clay Guida (25 wins-10 losses) is a very energetic fighter always looking for some-fast paced action.

Florian will look to strike then takedown Guida for a submission attempt. I’ll give him a 3rd Round victory via Submission.
