To welcome the New Year 2010, Google has in its homepage today a doodle celebrating the event.
The fireworks make the two Os and a clock tower makes the L in the Google logo. The word 2010 is also spelled out. A firework makes the 2, the clock face makes the 0, the clock face’s side view makes the 1 and the moon makes the 0. Incidentally, that’s a blue moon right there.
If you hover the mouse over the doodle, the words “Happy New Year 2010!” appear. Clicking on it will direct you to the search results page for that phrase.
The best part?
If you press the “I’m Feeling Lucky” button, you will see a display of stars and the words “Happy New Year” in different colors all over your browser.
Happy New Year everybody!
