“If President Hassan is killed, this peace process dies with him.”
Hassan is the President of the Islamic Republic of Kamistan and Jack Bauer attempts to protect him from an assassination plot in the continuation of the season premiere of 24.
24 Season 8 Episode 3 takes place at 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
Episode plot:
Jack Bauer discovers two murdered victims, a police officer and his wife, while investigating the assassination plot against President Hassan. The police officer’s murder was orchestrated by President Hassan’s brother in order to infiltrate the UN security detail. Meanwhile Dana is confronted by a mysterious figure from her past and he forces himself back into her life by threatening to expose a secret she is hiding from C.T.U. President Hassan confirms the rumors the he is having an affair with reporter, Meredith Reed, and provides a personal assurance that she is not involved in the plot against him. A meeting between President Taylor and President Hassan is intruded by false bomb threat and the evacuation detail is attacked by an underground explosion, hitting President Hassan’s motorcade.
