Facebok? If you are looking for the number one online social site in the world, then you got the spelling wrong.
This post is made to check how many find their way here after searching for facebook albeit in a misspelled way.
You may find this intriguing but I’m just trying to test how much traffic I can generate by using the keyword facebok.
According to Google trends, facebok is heavily searched all throughout the year and in fact, it is rising. This is a testament to faceboo’s overwhelming growing popularity.
In the Google SERPs, facebok has 609,000 results.
Not exactly HITLOD but still, if I can manage to at least make the first page, I can still gain a significant amount of traffic.
Facbook has been popular nowadays that in fact, it has already overtaken Yahoo! and YouTube and now sits as the number 2 most popular web site in the world. The number one rank still belongs to Google of course.
Now, do you think there’s a chance that a social networking site take over the top spot from a search engine?

Hello po! Choosing po ng targeted keyword po ay napaka importante para makakuha ng traffic sa SERPs gaya po ng facebook na keyword ang gawin lang talaga eh gumawa ng post para diyan din gamitin po yung nalalaman natin sa SEO baka mapasama po entry po natin at least sa first page man lang. hehe

Hey Ark, this happens to be one of my favorite subjects in SEO 101 – serp experiments
In fact I’ve put up another website just for this purpose.
So, how’s the ‘facebok’ experiment going? I think it’s a competitive keyword since facebook.com itself is doing seo work on this same mis-spelled keyword. And there’s actually a website called facebok.com.
I’d love to hear updates from you and also the seo techniques you used.
