The Grammy Awards or Grammys are the most prestigious award in the music industry. They are presented annually by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences of the United States.

This January 31, 2010, the 52nd rendition of the awards will take place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, USA.

A total of 109 awards will be presented at the Grammy Awards with Neil Young being honored as the 2010 MusiCares Person of the Year.

Beyoncé leads the nominees with ten nominations. Other nominees include Taylor Swift with eight and Black Eyed Peas, Maxwell, Kanye West with six nominations, and David Guetta, Jay-Z and Lady Gaga with five nominations. Colbie Caillat, Kings of Leon, Bruce Springsteen, T-Pain, and Keith Urban each received four nominations.
