It will be New Orleans Saints vs Indianapolis Colts for this year’s Super Bowl Sunday.

In the 44th edition of Super Bowl, American Football Conference (AFC) champion Indianapolis Colts will face the the National Football Conference (NFC) champion New Orleans Saints in a knockout game to decide who is the National Football League (NFL) champion for the 2009 season.

Super Bowl XLIV will be held at the Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, USA on February 7, 2010.

This is the Saints’ first ever Super Bowl appearance while it is the fourth time for the Colts. The Saints enter the game with a 13-3 record for the 2009 regular season, compared to the Colts 14-2 record. In the playoff games, both teams had a 1st round bye.

The New Orleans Saints defeated the Indianapolis Colts by a score of 31–17, earning their first Super Bowl win. Saints’ quarterback Drew Brees, who completed 32 of 39 passes for 288 yards and two touchdowns, was named the Super Bowl MVP. His 32 completions tied a Super Bowl record set by Tom Brady in Super Bowl XXXVIII.
