Vancouver 2010 Google Doodle

To celebrate the event, Google is on its homepage a doodle of what looks like athletes marching while waving their national flags.  The letter “l” is replace by an Olympic torch and flame. It is clearly a scene from the Vancouver 2010 opening ceremony.

What’s unique about this doodle is that it stretches across the screen. Clicking on the doodle will take you to the search results page for the words “Vancouver 2010″.

The XXI Olympic Winter Games is expected to last from February 12-28, 2010 with hundreds of athletes competing for a total of 86 gold medals in fifteen sports events.

Check out the adorable Olympic mascots.
