Mirko Cro Cop is back!

In the co-main event for UFC 110: Nogueira vs Velasquez last February 20, 2010 at the Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia, Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic might have realized that it’s not time to retire yet after defeating Anthony “The Hippo” Perosh.

Cro Cop connected with clean straight lefts that prompted Perosh to attempt multiple takedowns but were unsuccesful against Mirko’s excellent takedown defense.

The fight was stopped by doctor stoppage at the end of round 2 after a vicious elbow strike from Cro Cop opened a wound at Perosh’ head.

Cro Cop has now improved to 26 wins, 7 losses and 2 draws while Perosh remains an unknown fighter blowing up his biggest chance to become famous.
