Pinoys Got Talent Too!Category: Entertainment
Pilipinas Got Talent is our own spin-off of the popular talent show that first originated in Great Britain but had its first full series with America’s Got Talent in June 2006 in the US.
Pilipinas Got Talent aims to discover world-class Pinoy acts from all walks of life and from all ages that showcase talents ranging from singing to dancing to acting and to an extent, extraordinary and weird acts.
The panel of judges is composed of Comedy Concert Queen Ai Ai delas Alas, Queen of Talk Kris Aquino, and former ABS-CBN President Freddie Garcia while Billy Crawford and Luis Manzano take duty as the hosts of the show.
The grand winner of “Pilipinas Got Talent” will take home P2 million.
There’s also daily spin-off titled Pilipinas Got More Talent at 4:30 PM featuring funny antics and never before seen footages of the show hosted Marc Abaya.
Pinoys flocked to audition venues at major cities including Batangas, Cebu, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, and Davao for three days last November and December 2009. Auditions were also held at Manila for four days.
Pilipinas Got Talent had its pilot episode on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at ABS-CBN. It airs every Saturday, 7:30 PM and Sunday, 8:30 PM.
