The Lone Star State needs to be renamed “The Countless Stars State” as the biggest stars in today’s roster of NBA players came down to Texas to play in the 2010 NBA All-Star Game.

And among those stars, Dwyade “Flash” Wade shone the brightest as he bagged his first-ever All-Star game MVP award leading the East All-Stars to a 141-139 victory over their Western counterparts.

With a world-record crowd of 108,713 filling up the Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, Wade dazzled the crowd with his scoring and passing with a game-high 28 points and 11 assists (second to Steve Nash). He collared 6 rebounds too and swiped a game-high 5 steals.

This February 14, 2010, the Dallas Mavericks will serve as host of the 2010 NBA All-Star Game, the 59th edition in NBA history.

It will be the second time in franchise history for the Mavs as they previously hosted the 1986 All-Star Game at their former home court, the Reunion Arena in Dallas, Texas, USA. The 2010 NBA All-Star Game will be played on at the home of the National Football League’s Dallas Cowboys team, the Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship is coming to Australia!

UFC 110: Nogueira vs Velasquez is a pay-per-view event which will be held this Saturday, February 20, 2010 at the Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia. This will be the first UFC event to be held in “The Land Down Under”.

UFC 110 headlines Antonio Rodrigo “Minotauro” Nogueira  and Cain Velasquez in a battle of two contenders for the UFC Heavyweight championship.
