In 1981, Clash of the Titans; a fantasy adventure film based on the myth of Perseus was released and was a box-office hit becoming the 11th highest grossing film of the year.

That movie employed stop motion animation to provide the special effects.

Twenty-nine years later, Warner Bros and Legendary Pictures has produced a remake. Originally set for standard release on March 26, 2010, it was later announced that the film would be converted to 3D and released on April 2, 2010. This would ensure no more of that lousy special effects in the original movie.

It stars Sam Worthington as Perseus, the hero, main protagonist, and son of Zeus. Yes, the same actor who portrayed Jake Sully in the huge box-office hit, James Cameron’s Avatar.

On March 31, 2010 at Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA Takanori “Fireball Kid” Gomi will make his UFC debut against Kenny “Ken-Flo” Florian.

The two headlines the UFC Fight Night 21: Florian vs. Gomi. This is a side-event for the UFC and is shown on free TV (Spike TV channel) as the preliminary for The Ultimate Fighter Season 11 premiere.

The Ultimate Fighter Season 10 winner Roy “The Big Country” Nelson is such a character that after knocking-out Brendan “The Hybrid” Schaub in the TUF 10 Finale, Nelson climbed the top of the Octagon ring and proudly showed the world his belly. That was after he entered the arena to the tune of Weird Al Yankovic’s “Fat”; a parody of the Michael Jackson song “Bad”.

In the co-main event for UFC Fight Night 21: Florian vs. Gomi, Nelson will make his second UFC outing against Stefan “The Skyscraper” Struve

UFC Fight Night 21 is the third UFC event in just 2 weeks following UFC Live: Vera vs Jones on Versus and UFC 111: St-Pierre vs Hardy.

But who’s complaining?

On March 31, 2010 at Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, North Carolina, Kenny “Ken-Flo” Florian and Takanori “Fireball Kid” Gomi will clash in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 21: Florian vs. Gomi.

This will be the third time the UFC has held an event in Charlotte, but the first since UFC 5; hence the heading: UFC Returns to North Carolina.

Florian returns to the Octagon after nailing Clay “The Carpenter” Guida at UFC 107. On the other hand, this is Gomi’s UFC debut.

Hakuna Matata! was officially launched last February 12, 2009 with my first ever blog post titled “The Ark is Now Ready to Sail“.

More than a year later; 410 days to be exact, here I am making my 500th blog post. That means in that span, I was able to churn out an average of 1.22 posts per day.

Wow! I didn’t expect I’d be as prolific a writer as this. In my quest to make money online, I was able to write this many. In comparison with my second web site, I was only able to publish 70 posts in 1 year for an average of only 1 post every 5.2 days. Well, that one was really not meant for making money online.

As the 500th blog post, this is a report on what has transpired over the past 410 days it has taken me to write this many.
