Jen “Little Evil” Pulver’s claim to fame is that he was the first UFC Lightweight Champion. He was able to defend it twice before leaving the UFC.

Since then, his career is spiraling down as he only compiled a 4-8 win-loss record in his last 12 fights and is on a current losing streak of 4.

At WEC 47: Bowles vs Cruz on March 6, 2010  at in Columbus, Ohio, USA, he will try to salvage his career fighting Javier “Showtime” Vazquez in a featherweight bout.

Pulver (22 wins, 12 losses) aside from being the first UFC Lightweight Champion was also a coach on the The Ultimate Fighter 5 reality show. He holds notable wins over Caol Uno, Rob Emerson, Joe Stevenson, and current UFC Lightweight Champion BJ Penn.

Vazquez (13 wins, 4 losses) tries to get his first win in WEC where he is unsuccessful in his first two attempts: against LC Davis at WEC 42 and Deividas Taurosevičius at WEC 43.
