Pacman Dominates Grand Master in “The Event”Category: Boxing
They say, everything in Texas is bigger.
This March 13, 2010, a big boxing event simply dubbed “The Event” will take place at the home of the National Football League’s Dallas Cowboys, the Cowboys Stadium, in Arlington, Texas, USA which also happens to be the biggest domed stadium in the world.
Pound for pound king and WBO welterweight champion Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao (50-3-2) and Joshua “Grand Master” Clottey (35-3) will be pitied together in a welterweight limit of 147 lbs.
This will be Pacquiao’s first defense of the title he grabbed from Miguel Cotto via 12th Round TKO last November 14, 2009 when he made history by becoming a seven-time world champion in as many divisions.
Clottey on the other hand is coming from a heartbreaking and controversial split decision loss to Miguel Cotto last June 13, 2009 which many felt he won.
