The Oscars, the most prestigious award in the movie industry will be presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, USA on March 7, 2010. It will be the 82nd such ceremony since its inception in 1929.

The show will be hosted by actors Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin.

Top nominated films were Avatar and The Hurt Locker, with 9 nominations each and Inglourious Basterds with 8.
