Undefeated Devon “Alexander the Great” Alexander unifies the WBC and IBF light welterweight titles with an 8th round TKO victory over Juan “Iron Twin” Urango (22-3-1) on their HBO Boxing After Dark bout held on March 6, 2010 at the Mohegan Sun Arena at Uncasville, Connecticut, USA.

Alexander landed one powerful right uppercut to Urango that floored the latter. He then followed it up with another uppercut at 1:12 of the 8th round that finally ended the night for Urango.

Urango has now lost all of his 3 fights against unbeaten fighters when he faced them: against Ricky Hatton (41-0) for the IBF light welterweight title in January 2007 and Andre Berto (24-0) in May 2009 for the WBC welterweight title and against Devon Alexander (19-0).
