Georges St. Pierre vs Dan Hardy video

GSP – Georges “Rush” St. Pierre hasn’t lost since 2007. He has also already defended his UFC welterweight championship for three consecutive times.

He has dominated his opponents so much that he is riding a  streak of 20 consecutive winning rounds and dominated his opponents in each one of them. That’s actually a UFC record if you’re not impressed.

In the process, he became the best welterweight in the planet and one of the top pound for pound MMA fighters.

In the main event of UFC 111: St-Pierre vs Hardy, top contender Dan “The Outlaw” Hardy is looking to break that streak. An 8-to-1 underdog coming into the fight, he is in for the toughest fight of his career.

St. Pierre (19 wins, 2 losses) is a well-rounded mixed-martial arts fighter who is expert in Kyokushin, wrestling, Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Both his stand-up and ground games are impressive. In his last fight at UFC 100, he took down Thiago “Pitbull” Alves all over and over again in a dominant performance winning by Unanimous Decision.

Hardy (23 wins, 6 losses) has not lost in the UFC since his debut at UFC 89. That’s four consecutive UFC wins for him. He is the current Cage Warriors welterweight and light-welterweight champion and ranked by Sherdog as the #4 welterweight fighter in the world. In his last fight at UFC 105 headlined by the Couture vs Vera card, he fought toe to toe with Mike Swick to win via Unanimous Decision.

Good fight. I would like to see GSP stand up during his fights, instead of always on the ground. Dan Hardy, he is a great guy too, he didn’t tap, even when his arm looked like it was about to be ripped off, or broken! The fight should have been longer, I wanna see GSP stand up and go toe to toe with Hardy! But anyways, good fight… maybe there can be a GSP vs. Hardy 2 someday.
