TUF 11 Episode 1: Smashed Up

Two former UFC light-heavyweight champions are making a comeback in the 11th season of the reality television series The Ultimate Fighter.

Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell was the original coach in the inaugural season 1 of the show opposite Randy Couture while Tito “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” Ortiz had a previous stint as a coach opposite Ken Shamrock in the 3rd season.

TUF Season 11 is officially titled as The Ultimate Fighter: Team Liddell vs Team Ortiz and features 28 fighters in the middleweight division as opposed to the usual 16 or 32.

In The Ultimate Fighter Season 11 Episode 1 premiere on March 31, 2010 at 10 PM ET/PT, the contestants were introduced and the two coaches get to select their fighters. TUF s11e1 is titled Smashed Up.

It was shown right after UFC Fight Night 21: Kenny Florian vs Takanori Gomi  LIVE at Spike TV.
