HBO Boxing failed to build up the Pacquiao vs Clottey fight with a 24/7 series and could only muster a 30-minute, pre-fight countdown show titled Road to Dallas.

Well rejoice boxing fans.

The seven-time Emmy award winning documentary reality series is back for its eight installment with a four-episode, all-access series featuring Floyd “Pretty Boy” Mayweather, Jr. and Shane “Sugar” Mosley.

Just recently, the franchise received six Sports Emmy nominations for the 2009 programming year, including Outstanding Edited Sports Special for the Mayweather-Marquez 24/7 series. Winners will be announced April 26.

As part of the promotion for the Mayweather vs Mosley bout titled “Who R U Picking?”, HBO will film a TV special that focuses on each fighter’s training and preparation for the bout as well as a glimpse of their personal lives.

This will be Mayweather’s fourth inclusion in the series after Mayweather-dela Hoya (May 2007), Mayweather-Hatton (December 2007) and Mayweather/Marquez (September 2007). On the other hand, this will be Mosley’s first.

Mayweather-Mosley 24/7 will be broken into four episodes counting down the final weeks leading up to the big fight.

This is the schedule:

Mayweather-Mosley 24/7 Episode 1 – April 10 (10:00-10:30 p.m. ET/7:00-7:30 p.m. PT)
Mayweather-Mosley 24/7 Episode 2 – April 17 (9:30-10:00 p.m. ET/6:30-7:00 p.m. PT)
Mayweather-Mosley 24/7 Episode 3 – April 24 (8:30-9:00 p.m. ET/5:30-6:00 p.m. PT)
Mayweather-Mosley 24/7 Episode 4 – April 30 (8:30-9:00 p.m. ET/5:30-6:00 p.m. PT)

All four episodes will have multiple replay dates on HBO, and the series will also be available on HBO On Demand.

Floyd Mayweather, Jr. (40-0, 25 KOs) vs Shane Mosley (46-5, 39 KOs) will be presented by HBO Pay-Per-View live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA on May 1, 2010.
