Evander Holyfield vs Frans Botha video

In a battle between two boxers aged over 40, 47-year old Evander “Real Deal” Holyfield knocked out 41-year-old Frans “White Buffalo” Botha in the eighth round of their WBF Heavyweight championship bout at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

Holyfield connected with a right to Botha’s chin that sent him to the canvas. Although he beat the referee Russell Mora’s 10-count, Mora still stopped the fight seeing that Botha is still reeling from that knockdown.

In the process, Holyfield (43-10-2, 28 KOs) claimed Botha’s (47-6-2, 28 KOs) title as he became the only boxer to win the heavyweight title four times.

This is Holyfield’s first fight since he last fought and was defeated by Nikolai Valuev for the WBA Heavyweight title last December 20, 2008.

At the post-fight press conference, Holyfield said that he would like to fight either of the Klitschko brothers: Wladimir and Vitali.

Holyfield has now broken George Foreman’s record as the oldest man ever to become heavyweight boxing champion at age 47 (Foreman was 45 at the time he knocked-out Michael Moorer).

Enough already old man.
