Mayweather Mosley 24 7 Episode 2

HBO’s 24/7 series for the Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and Shane Mosley bout finally had its premiere episode last April 10, 2010.

In that episode, we are transported back to Mayweather and Mosley’s last bouts against Juan Manuel Marquez and Antonio Margarito respectively and how Mosley jumped into the ring and challenged Mayweather that fateful night of September 2009.

Then off to their press tour where they displayed their animosity towards each other. I don’t know but something about me feels it is all staged.

I’m also amused at how the doping control officer and blood testing officer waited and followed for Mayweather (from his camp at the Mayweather Boxing Gym, Las Vegas to his house) so they can get their samples.

four vials of blood sample

At Mosley’s training camp at the mountains of Big Bear, California, I realized that Manny Pacquiao’s claim of blood drawn having an ill effect on him might be true after all.

Man, the blood sample required is not just a drop but four vials!

Watch the Mayweather-Mosley 24/7 episode 2 at HBO on April 17 (9:30-10:00 p.m. ET/6:30-7:00 p.m. PT).

Four vials?!? The boxers might just as well donate blood before every fight. Crazy. Just the same, the idea was thought of by Mayweather’s camp. I wonder what crap they would have come up with next (to postpone the fight indefiniteley) had Manny agreed to have his blood tested.
