After the most anticipated World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) event was staged last month with Wrestlemania XXVII, here comes another pay-per-view event showcasing you favorite superstars from the Raw and SmackDown brands.
Extreme Rules will take place on April 25, 2010 at the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore, Maryland, USA.

In the weeks leading to the Royal Rumble 2010, Batista was hired by Mr. McMahon to attack Bret Hart. Cena ultimately stood with Bret Hart, leading to Batista attacking Cena.
At WWE Elimination Chamber, Cena defeated 5 others in the Elimination Chamber to become WWE Champion. Moments following, Mr. McMahon appeared and said Cena must defend the WWE Championship against Batista, whom he lost it to at the event.
The following night on Raw, Cena defeated Batista by disqualification to earn a match against Batista at WrestleMania XXVI. At WrestleMania, Cena defeated Batista to regain the title. On the April 5 edition of Raw, Batista attacked Cena after a tag-team match between Cena and David Otunga against The Miz and The Big Show, after which it was announced that the rematch for Extreme Rules will be a Last Man Standing match.
