Since this will be the first time that WEC  is shown LIVE on pay-per-view, the organizers made sure that the fight card will be action-packed.

So at WEC 48, three exciting matchups will be featured this Saturday, April 24, 2010 at the ARCO Arena in Sacramento, California, USA.

In the main event, Jose Aldo defends his WEC Featherweight championship belt against former champ Urijah “California Kid” Faber.

Another title defense is in the offing with Ben “Smooth” Henderson’s WEC Lightweight championship belt on the line versus Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone in the co-main event.

And the last but not the least bout pits former WEC Featherweight champion Mike Brown against Armenian judo expert Manvel Gamburyan.
