This might finally give Shaq peace of mind.
Dwight Howard is Superman no more.
In the Orlando Magic’s 99-90 Game 4 win over the Charlotte Bobcats, Howard has fouled out again.
This is the second time in as many games he got 6 fouls giving him a total of 22 fouls in the Magic’s 4-0 sweep of the Bobcats in their 1st Round playoff series.
That dubious statistic is enough to earn him a new nickname: “Foul on You”.
It was given to him by his teammates during their pre-Game 4 practice.
Aside from blocking 20 shots punctuated by a 9-block Game 1 performance, the Defensive Player of the Year was a non-factor on offense as Howard’s minutes were spent more on the bench than on the floor because of his foul issues.
In the end, it didn’t matter for his team as they become the first to advance to the next round of NBA playoff competition, the Conference Semifinals.
However, in order for the Magic to grab a ticket to The Last Dance, Superman should return.
