After the success of the first Iron Man movie; earning positive reviews and more than $500 million in box-office receipts, here comes its sequel and the second film in a planned trilogy.

In Iron Man 2, actor Robert Downey, Jr. returns to reprise his role as Tony Stark who builds a powered exoskeleton and becomes the technologically advanced superhero, Iron Man.

This time around, he is not alone in fighting those who want to destroy the world as he now has a companion, War Machine played by Don Cheadle.

Gwyneth Paltrow also returns as Virginia “Pepper” Potts: Stark’s closest friend, budding love interest, and business partner after Pepper replaced Obadiah Stane as CEO of Stark Industries.

Iron Man 2 is directed by Jon Favreau and based on the comic book character created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby and published by Marvel Comics.

With a budget if $200 million and running time of 2 hours 5 minutes, expect this movie to keep you at the edge of your seat.

The world is aware that billionaire inventor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.) is the armored superhero Iron Man. Under pressure from the government, the press, and the public to share his technology with the military, Tony is unwilling to divulge the secrets behind the Iron Man armor because he fears the information will slip into the wrong hands. With James “Rhodey” Rhodes (Don Cheadle) and Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) at his side, Tony forges new alliances and confronts powerful new forces.
