The entire 3-round fight was full of knockdowns and submission attempts but in the end, the two survived a bloody battle that was awarded “Fight of the Night”.

Adamek Survives “Nightmare” Arreola

Last September 26, 2009 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, USA, Chris “Nightmare” Arreola failed in his chance to capture the WBC Heavyweight championship when he was outboxed by Vitali “Dr. Iron Fist” Klitschko, the champion.

That was his first professional loss.

Aaron Brooks Named the NBA’s Most Improved Player for 2009-10 Season

Aaron Brooks NBA's Most Improved Player

In Yao Ming’s absence this 2009-10 NBA season due to a surgery he had undergone to repair the broken bone in his left foot, one player from the Houston Rockets’ roster flourished.

After setting career highs in points (19.6 per game), assists (5.3) and rebounds (2.6), point guard Aaron Brooks was named today the NBA’s Most Improved Player. His scoring average went up 8.4 points from the previous season, the highest increase of any qualifying player.

The first Houston Rockets player to win the award also set a franchise record for 3-pointers made (209) and became the sixth player in NBA history to record at least 200 3-pointers and 400 assists.

The First Ever YouTube Video

Youtube, the most popular video sharing website was created by Chad Hurley, Steve Chen and Jawed Karim; three former PayPal employees last February 2005.

The domain name www.youtube.com was activated on February 14, 2005 but it was not until April 23 at 8:27 PM that the first video was uploaded to YouTube.

To commemorate that historic event, here’s the very first YouTube video titled “Me at the zoo” showing founder Jawed Karim at the San Diego Zoo, California, USA.
