The 2010 NBA Playoffs First Round series between the Eastern Conference #3 seed Atlanta Hawks and #6 Milwaukee Bucks has now reached it penultimate game.
It’s win or go home time now. It’s Game 7 of the Hawks-Bucks series!
This is actually the only matchup of the First Round to reach seven games.
Predicted by the so-called “experts” to bully Milwaukee in only 5-6 games, Atlanta unexpectedly faced tough competition from a team without two of its best players injured (Michael Redd and Andrew Bogut) and led by rookie at that, Brandon Jennings.
Despite losing the Rookie of the Year Award to Tyreke Evans of the Sacramento Kings, Jennings has shown his maturity by averaging 19.3 ppg and 3.3 apg in the series as his team actually took the lead 3-2 after winning three straight games (Games 3-5) before losing Game 6 on their home court last time out.
Whoever wins the Hawks-Bucks Game 7 will move on to the Conference Semifinals Round where 2010 Defensive Player of the Year Dwight Howard and the Orland0 Magic awaits.
The Hawks-Bucks Game 7 will air on ABC (10:00 AM PST / 1:00 PM EST) prior to the Lakers vs Jazz Conference Semifinals Game 1 on May 2, 2010.

UPDATE May 2, 2010: The Hawks win, 95-74! Sixth Man of the Year Jamal Crawford led his team with 22 points and Al Horford with 16 points and 15 rebounds. Rookie standout Brandon Jennings scored 15 points on just 6 of 18 shooting.
