After his successful UFC debut, one in which Kevin Ferguson, more famously known as Kimbo Slice showed his improvement in the ground game, he is back still raring to prove to doubters that he belongs in the UFC.

In his first fight inside the Octagon with Houston Alexander in the The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights finale, fans were surprised at how he added some wrestling to his brawler-type fighting style slamming Alexander with a back suplex in the 2nd Round. He won via Unanimous Decision and failed to knock-out Alexander but that’s because “The Assassin” was just contented of circling Kimbo.

Fellow TUF 10 alumnus Matt Mitrione (1 win-0 loss) is looking to foil that plan. Nicknamed as “Meathead” by his coach Rashad Evans, Mitrione knocked-out fan favorite Marcus Jones in the 2nd Round of their encounter.

The Kimbo-Mitrione matchup will be the second fight for both fighters inside the Octagon and their first official heavyweight fight in the UFC.

Kimbo Slice (4 wins-1 loss) is the more veteran fighter as aside from those YouTube brawls with some street punks, he fought at EliteXC winning three times and losing once via knockout to Seth Petruzelli.
