In the co-main event for Strikeforce: Heavy Artillery, former Ultimate Fighting Championship heavyweight champion Andrei “The Pitbull” Arlovski faces Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva in a heavyweight bout.

Arlovski (15 wins, 7 losses) is considered to be one of the top ten ranked heavyweights in the world by multiple MMA publications. He is well-renowned for his striking power as 11 of his wins were by way of knockout.

Silva (13 wins, 2 losses) is the first and last EliteXC heavyweight champion.
