In the 4th quarter of Game 1 of the Lakers vs Suns Western Conference Finals series, Shannon Brown treated fans to a dunk reminiscent of Dwight Howard’s Superman dunk in the 2008 NBA Slam Dunk Contest.

It was one of the best dunks ever. Err, best MISSED dunks ever.

Shannon Brown might have missed the dunk attempt but the degree of elevation and the extension of his body made him look like flying.

He even made Jason Richardson his launching pad!

If he had not missed that, fans who rallied behind his inclusion in the 2010 NBA Slam Dunk Contest will surely give a sigh of relief,

“I told you so, this kid got some hops.”

Unfortunately, he missed.
