In last week’s episode, we see the wilcard fight between teammates Kyacey Uscola and Kris McCray as their coach Tito Ortiz decided to just watch from the bleachers.
Fifty-nine seconds into round 2 of the fight, Uscola tapped out after McCray submitted him with a keylock.
In a refreshing break from training, TUF 1 winner Forrest Griffin dropped-by unannounced and showed the fighters the latest UFC Undisputed 2010 video game (surprise surprise, you can play as Shaq!) and let them play.
Why am I not surprised that the first fighters they chose were Rampage Jackson and Rashad Evans?
Afterwards, Dana White announced the quarterfinal matchups after some heated argument (again) between the two coaches.
* Nick Ring vs. Court McGee
* Kyle Noke vs. Kris McCray
* Brad Tavares vs. Seth Baczynski
* Jamie Yager vs. Josh Bryant
However in a sad news, Ring was forced to withdraw after a specialist declared that he needs a third ACL reconstruction surgery.
After Dana White told the fighters about a need for a replacement, James Hammortree chased him to his car and volunteered himself to which White immediately agrees saying that it’s the first time in The Ultimate Fighter history that somebody stepped up to him bravely.
Of course, another hopeful Joseph Henle was pissed.
Then Jamie Yager in his usual demeanor told us the episode’s title.
But in the first quarterfinal match, Court McGee spoiled the party by submitting Hammortree with a guillotine choke at 0:28 of round 2.
In the next episode, we will see two more quarterfinal matches.
However, a controversial decision sparks a heated showdown between the coaches and Team Ortiz gets hit (again) with a shocking news.
Will this be the episode that Tito say goodbye?
